ask your careers related questions. These will be answered by a
team of Careers Advisers within 3 working days.
If you are looking for employment you will find everything you

vacation and graduate jobs.
Student Union
You are eligible to join the Staffordshire University Student Union
which is there to represent your views and opinions. Covering
both your academic and social well-being, the Centre is a
central point for advice and guidance. This may include financial
information, disability support, legal rights, personal issues or
just general help factors relating to your course. Plus there are a
wide range of clubs and societies to take part in.
Online Resources
You will be provided with your own unique student username
and password to access a host of online resources through the
internet. These include e-books, e-journals and databases.
In addition, you will have your very own personalised web
page called MyPortal which links to services such as email,
news, events, contacts and applications like Pebblepad
and Blackboard.
Physical Library
You are able to access all resources in the Staffordshire
University Libraries located in Stoke on Trent and Stafford.
There is also a postal book service for up to four books at a
time, if you are unable to visit either of these yourself.
Study Skills Service
The Study Skills
Team can visit you in your location, and offer
academic support to any individuals or groups on request.
This can be in relation to assignment planning, presentations,
exam preparation or any other issue.
