What is a Foundation Degree?

Our Foundation Degrees are modern new qualifications designed in collaboration with employers and Staffordshire University. They combine academic teaching with work based learning and address the gap which exists for those who do not have the opportunity to study a higher level qualification in the traditional full time manner.

All courses have been skilfully designed to meet the academic and vocational needs of students in a variety of arts and technology subjects. Often with flexible part time delivery patterns, they enable you to balance study with home or work commitments and put your career on a sound footing.

Higher National Certificates

Higher National Certificates (HNCs) are well established qualifications designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in current or future employment. We are currently offering an HNC qualification in Business which is offered on a part time basis over a two year period.

Access to HE

An Access to Higher Education course is often the most direct route to Higher Education for adults. If you are interested in changing or developing your career this course will provide you with the necessary skills required for further study and training.
