Leek College has been awarded Centre of Vocational Excellence status in Advanced Computing and ICT Support. Only the very best colleges have been given this award and it reflects our outstanding achievements in this field. The accolade was awarded on the basis of the high quality provision and standards achieved by our students and resulted in a £500,000 investment in our IT facilities.
At Leek College, students have access to the latest equipment and software connected to the internet via a fast 10mb microwave link and a WiFi network. All computer rooms have multimedia projectors, interactive smart boards, scanners, laser and colour printers. Digital cameras are used extensively for portfolio work.
